The project involved doubling the size of the facilities of the Quebec Corporation of EMTs (CTAQ) headquarters in Quebec City.
This new 24,000 sq. ft. expansion was needed to facilitate the cooperative’s ambulance operations.
It includes: A new garage, with space to park 10 more ambulances indoors than before| a new maintenance space | a logistics work area that is twice as big as before | new change rooms | an exercise room | new training rooms | an outdoor refuelling area.
The site has been completely redesigned to avoid having ambulances that are arriving at the garage and those that are leaving to respond to a call cross paths.
